MLW addresses the government's 14-19 initiative, engaging employers, schools and students in connecting education and Work Related Learning to develop skills, learning and the future workforce.
The MLW Team is heavily involved with schools across the Country delivering Work Related Learning packages. MLW has developed the material to co-ordinate Work Related Learning into a successful online Curriculum Centre, Advisory Service and Help Line.
The significant aims are to raise levels of attainment through high quality complimentary styles of learning for all 14-19 year olds throughout the country with an underpinning goal of 'Success for All’.
Fiverivers was asked to design & develop a networked software aplication that managed the complete range of tasks involved in the MLW works procedure.
A full analysis of the works methodology was carried out to determine exact requirements for the system. Fiverivers then architected the software and in close consultation with the MLW project coordinators, developed and implemented the solution.
Highlighting our integrated capabilities and range of services, we also deployed;
a scaleable content managed Website to showcase MLW and its services
reviewed and implemented an IT infrastructure overhaul for more efficient working practices
